the challenge
Student Print Club's challenge was to actively engage their audience not only during peak seasons for students, but also in the off-season (holidays). They were looking for an agency to build and manage their online student community, whilst also encouraging authentic engagement through social media. Not only this, but come up with creative assets for new branding, website and promotional material.
To draft an initial Social Strategy aimed at brand awareness and audience engagement. Conducting a Platform Cleanse and re-vamp was essential to ensure both brand and creative consistency. Executing on Content Ideation and Content Creation with our internal Design Team, we structured 3 posts a week alongside story and behind the scenes content at the printing location with the students featuring in social content.
A key part of the strategy was actively engaging both online and in-person with the student community to foster a deeper sense of support and awareness for students in their stressful periods at university and school. We worked with the client closely to ensure a smooth and swift design and development process for the build of their new website. The team liaised with universities in the London Area, providing promotional material for use on-campus.

- we developped the logo, the brand guideline and developed all the graphics assets to use across social platforms, website and advertising. - we wanted to create something simple yet impactful evoking the printing industry through delicate details such as the ink drop in the logo. -Further down the line we complimented the brand's guideline adding new graphic assets into the branding. By introducing the SPC zebra we wanted to reach out to a younger demographic - the zebra being a smart animal blending in most situation. - We developed a vibrant colour palette to make the brand stand out but also to give the brand this young dynamic trendy look - having vibrant colours like those enabled the brand to have a strong visual identity throughout multiple channels.
- we worked with student print club on magazine advertising - the challenge was to invite student to discover all about the services and amazing student discounts SPC offers. - As mentioned above we introduced the use of the zebra as part of the brand guidelines as well as the zebra pattern to give the brand a younger look and feel. - With those visuals, we also wanted to bring the digital aspect of the brand demonstrating a digitally developed business and a quick service offering. - The pink being at the center of the brand's guideline we wanted to really put the emphasis on this memorable color to have more impact.
-throughout all the content we produced for SPC we always wanted to keep this vibrant playful & positive image that the brand evokes - we always alternate between the 3 main colours of the brand to keep consistency throughout content going out and create a recognisable brand - we switched between photography content, graphics and illustration based content to create a sort of more contrasted and structured feed.
The original Student Print Club website was based on a basic web template provided by the software that managed orders. ONQOR was challenged with re-skinning the whole site with new UI/UX to make the user experience more fluid, and to ensure the site was converting its visitors better. We started by developing a clear user journey, then developed out the design based on the limitations within the software. We added in video content to the site to enhance the user experience & to take the UI to the next level,
making the purchase process clearer for students and to enable a consistent management of the platform for the business. The finished product complimented the new branding we had produced for the business & enabled the company to increase its presence within the student community with a degree of credibility it did not previously have.
