Work-related Stress & How To Manage It

1. Track your stressors

Make sure your holiday days are being used, after all, that’s what they are there for!

Techniques such as meditation, deep breathing exercises and mindfulness can help to reduce stress. Got a favourite podcast you listen to? Take time to put it on, or play it when you can really listen.

6. Talk to your supervisor

Employee health has been linked to productivity at work, so your boss has an incentive to create a work environment that promotes employee well-being. Setting up an open conversation with your manager can help you both to create an effective plan that will reduce the stressors you have identified. 

7. Get some support

Don’t fight it on your own! Accepting help from your family and friends can improve your ability to manage stress. Find out if your employer has stress management resources available.
