The idea for Actiph first came to founder Jamie Douglas-Hamilton when he set two Guinness World Records by rowing from Australia to Africa. During this physically demanding challenge he realised that by mixing fresh water with sea water he was able to hydrate faster and he immediately felt an increase in his energy levels. Realising that this had the potential to revolutionise how we approach hydration, the Actiph journey began.

As we welcomed Actiph to ONQOR’s show, we were ready to outperform the competition. The challenge set onto the 4 departments was to launch Actiph as the best known alkaline water internationally, in a booming market that is expanding rapidly year on year.

the solution

Putting Actiph on centre-stage, ONQOR designed and developed both the UK and US versions of the website which enabled them to launch internationally. By improving on the marketing and business strategy we were able to increase their sales by 300%. By collaborating with each department ONQOR helped Actiph become the showstopper brand of the alkaline, ionised water industry.

Let’s talk about branding. ONQOR Design had the idea of creating Actiphwear, which enabled Actiph to create a sub-brand with a lifestyle focus.

Whilst keeping the integrity of the branding of Actiph Water, we were able to bring in a sleek and spacious design. Now, Actiphists can feel powerful on the inside and out.

ONQOR Design created a wide array of print elements from brochures to posters, assisting out-of-home marketing and encouraging sales with engaging visuals that leave the audience thirsty for more!

Point Of Sale

A campaign designed with the ultimate personal touch. ONQOR Design created 360 new individualised labels to send to influencers our Marketing troupe had selected. This expanded the Actiph community, creating more brand awareness and reach.

A common theme that we found arose in the midst of the pandemic was that people started appreciating the small moments in their lives. Whether that be dinner with your loved ones or enjoying a workout in the sun, ONQOR wanted to capture those moments with Actiph. The Design troupe developed the content creation for this campaign to really capture the Moments That Matter.

Our aim for all Point of Sale designs was to introduce people to the Actiph world by educating them in a fun way and encouraging them to #beActiph

They say all good things come in three, well check out the three websites designed and developed by ONQOR’s Designers and Developers. Hosted by ONQOR Store, the first website is all about getting to know the product, the story and the team. We then created the US and UK E-Commerce sites.

Those moments that matter

During the Paid Social Campaign #MOMENTSTHATMATTER, we also ran a Gifted UK Influencer Campaign which lasted for five days.

Using 10 Content Creators, they had posted Actiph content, which resulted in page discovery increasing to 1,071,507 accounts. During this week, Actiph’s social page was seen 2,043,621 times.

Ambassador Program

We have worked hard to develop a community of Ambassadors for the ACTIPH brand. The aim is to increase overall brand awareness & drive sales which we achieved by developing & nurturing a relationship with the ambassadors on behalf of the client, as well as plan an in-person meet-up event to really foster a sense of community!

We brought together a team of 16 #ACTIPHISTS, building upon this each month to refine and develop the community.

Those moments that matter

The numbers say it all, the UK Paid Ad Campaign #MOMENTSTHATMATTER was aimed at increasing brand awareness. With a huge number of impressions & accounts reached, we had a large amount of people clicking through to the Actiph E-com site.

When we break it down further, we found that Ballet & Yoga Scene Ads outperformed the other videos with a combined total Impressions of 4,009,317 & 2,507 Clicks (all). The Montage Ad also made 3,040,528 Impressions & had 1,971 Clicks (all).

To improve the SEO for the Actiph Water Official Website, we have updated the title tags, added meta descriptions and alt text to all the pages. Other improvements include; correcting the tap targets (this makes sure that page links and buttons can be easily clicked on a mobile device), updating the twitter card, and minifying some of the assets, which makes the website run faster.

To improve the SEO for the Actiph E-commerce website, we added schema (a set of vocabularies used to add meaning to the information on a webpage in a way that is readable by machines like Google) to the site, updated the twitter card and added the alt text to the images. We also added all the social media handles into the page.

Since launching in the US, we began completing SEO work on the newly developed US E-commerce site, focusing on on-page, off-page and technical SEO.

In conjunction with the core video deliverables for the For Moments That Matter campaign we produced a variety of photographic assets too. These ranged from flagship photos of the characters interacting with the product through to behind-the-scenes, as we invite Actiph's audience behind the curtain.

As part of the transition from a performance product to a lifestyle offering, we created an extensive bank of imagery of people enjoying Actiph water in their daily life. These images were used by Brandbank to supply major retailers with key sales assets, and were also repurposed for social media advertising.

What Makes Actiph Different?

One of Actiph's core initial goals was to raise funding for growth a& expansion. Our Investment Video for them eventually led to a total raise of £1.2M - which is 229% overfunded! It was also a critical asset for their brand activation events and became repurposed for Social Media content too.

We made an animation to explain in an easy digestible way what it is that makes Actiph different as an alkaline water product. This animated video was made as part of Actiph's efforts to repeatedly target people in a position of purchasing power for major UK supermarkets around the time that they make their selections for the year. It was used as part of a LinkedIn Targeting Ad Campaign run by ONQOR Marketing.
