Student Print Club, part of ABC Imaging, specialises in providing printing for students at cheaper rates than uni printers so that students can tell everyone about their event or project with quality flyers, leaflets, & postcards at affordable prices. The main challenge was to actively engage their online audience, building and managing a student community, whilst also encouraging authentic engagement through social media. Student Print Club's challenge was to actively engage their audience not only during peak seasons for students, but also in the off-season (holidays). They were looking for an agency to build and manage their online student community, whilst also encouraging authentic engagement through social media. Not only this, but come up with creative assets for new branding, website and promotional material.
To draft an initial Social Strategy aimed at brand awareness and audience engagement. Conducting a Platform Cleanse and re-vamp was essential to ensure both brand and creative consistency. Executing on Content Ideation and Content Creation with our internal Design Team, we structured 3 posts a week alongside story and behind the scenes content at the printing location with the students featuring in social content.
A key part of the strategy was actively engaging both online and in-person with the student community to foster a deeper sense of support and awareness for students in their stressful periods at university and school. We worked with the client closely to ensure a smooth and swift design and development process for the build of their new website. The team liaised with universities in the London Area, providing promotional material for use on-campus.

Our internal Design team worked on creating the logo and organised the brand guidelines. Moving onto developing all the graphic assets for use across social platforms, website and advertising. Our aim was to create something simple, yet impactful, evoking the printing industry through delicate details such as the ink drop in the logo. Further down the line, we complimented the brand guidelines by adding new graphic assets.
By introducing the Student Print Club Zebra we wanted to reach out to a younger demographic - the zebra being a smart animal, standing out, being different. With the focus on standing out, we developed a vibrant colour palette to give the brand this young, dynamic and trendy look - having vibrant colours like the ones used enabled the brand to adopt a strong visual identity across multiple channels.
Print was something Student Print Club were keen to get right. We worked with Student Print Club on a Student Magazine Advert - the challenge being to invite students to discover the services and amazing student discounts that Student Print Club offers. As mentioned above, as well as the zebra we introduced into the brand guidelines, we also added a zebra pattern to give the brand a younger look and feel.
Through our visuals, we wanted to showcase the brand's digital aspect. In turn, demonstrating a digitally developed business and a quick service offering for the consumer. With student print club's key pink colour being at the centre of their brand's guideline we wanted to really put the emphasis on this memorable colour so that everything had more impact on the viewer.
Working closely with the ONQOR Marketing Team, ONQOR Design worked on giving social content a creative revamp. The aim was to craft the content with a vibrant playful & positive image that the brand emits whilst also sticking to brand guidelines. Always alternating between the 3 main brand colours, we ensured consistency throughout content going out and aimed to create a recognisable brand. We collaborated with the ONQOR Marketing Team to develop visuals which switched between photography content, graphics and illustrations to create a contrast and give the feeds a structured feel.
The original Student Print Club website was based on a basic web template provided by the software that managed orders. ONQOR was challenged with re-skinning the whole site with new UI/UX to make the user experience more fluid, and to ensure the site was converting its visitors better. We started by developing a clear user journey, then developed out the design based on the limitations within the software.
We added in video content to the site to enhance the user experience & to take the UI to the next level, making the purchase process clearer for students and to enable a consistent management of the platform for the business. The finished product complimented the new branding we had produced for the business & enabled the company to increase its presence within the student community with a degree of credibility it did not previously have.
