ONQOR Design

Xplain is a software developed by Solum Financial, offering users a structured way to evaluate derivatives & help people to understand the derivative evaluations. They needed a new website designed & developed within a short space of time. Xplain were looking for a full service agency to manage everything for them in one place, from concept to creation, with the addition of SEO work on the finished product. This project was a collaborative effort between our internal teams to create a fresh, financial site for Xplain. Check it out below!

Xplain's challenge was that they needed a new website designed & developed in a short space of time. They were looking for a full service agency to manage everything for them in one place, from concept to creation, with the addition of SEO work on the finished product.

the solution

A collaborative effort between our internal teams to create a fresh, financial site for Xplain. ONQOR Design worked on UI/UX wireframes and Print Design, DevHub then stepped in for the site build. Once the site had been built, our Dev Team worked closely with Marketing to conduct initial SEO work on the new website.

Their process involved evaluating how to decrease bounce rate, increase user engagement and in turn, conversion. The focal point lay within on-page, off-page and technical techniques to increase their SEO score and in turn where they place on SERP’s.

Xplain were looking for help with designing printable assets. We designed a brochure about Xplain, featuring the different services they offer. Sticking closely to their brand guidelines laid out for us, our design process focused on translating a complex product into a clear presentation, dividing their main offering into 3 separated key sections which were easily digestible for the reader.

Being a financial company, we opted for a minimal look design using mainly straight lines throughout graphics or imagery sourced. The idea behind this creative process was to ensure the brochure was as clear as possible and led the viewer through the information quickly.

UI / UX Design

Xplain contracted us to develop a comprehensive website explaining what Xplain does (pun fully intended). The website had to communicate the idea of three software solutions that offer financial insights. Over time, we created strong brand assets that were sustainable and scalable.

The creative process included ensuring the design allowed users to learn more about the products Xplain provides whilst also acting as a portal for signing into the software itself. The overarching idea was to convert users who'd been learning about the product to get in contact and request a demo.
